Super eagles defender Omeruo said it too early to start talking about Eagles winning the Afcon after the Super Eagles win their group B encounter against Syli Nationale of Guinea.
Omeruo was on target during the game that sealed the victory for Nigeria and secured qualification to the next round with a game in hand.
Speaking after a training session at the Alexandria Stadium. Omeruo express his happiness to score the only goal of the match and his first goal for Super eagles.

“I am so excited to score my first goal for the Super Eagles, especially when it came at a time we needed it to move into the round of 16. We still have a lot to do, but I believe we have a good team.
” I think it is too early for me to talk about winning the title. It is still a long journey, and we will take every match as it comes”.
As I said, we have a good squad and we are working as members of one big family. We will do our best to make Nigerians proud,” Omeruo stated
Super eagles will play against Madagascar on sunday, a draw for Madagascar will see them qualify for the knockout round having beaten the Burundi in their second group match.
