Manchester United turned down an offer of cash plus Ivan Perisic, it’s reported in England, as Inter continue their Romelu Lukaku pursuit.
The Belgium international has long been on Antonio Conte’s wish-list, even at Chelsea, and now the tactician is eager to bring him in at San Siro.
The Old Trafford side value Lukaku at around €70m, so Inter are trying to include player exchanges to lower the price-tag.
According to The Sun, the proposal of cash plus Croatia international Perisic was turned down, because Manchester United are no longer interested in the winger.
In fact, there are Italian suggestions Inter held a summit with Perisic’s agent to find suitable Premier League clubs, as no decent bids have arrived so far.
He had been close to Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in January.
